1. Halászbástya → Budavári Palota → Széchenyi Lánchíd → Szent István-bazilika
This is the most classic route with the most recognizable views of Budapest. The downside is that people start coming there at sunrise (around 7:30), so it gets quite crowded from early morning.
2. Magyar Állami Operaház → Szent István-bazilika → Széchenyi Lánchíd → Országház
This route also includes some of the most popular spots in Budapest.
There will be fewer people in the morning compared to the first route, so we can start a bit later (around 8:00–9:00).
3. Hősök tere → Vajdahunyad vára → Magyar Zene Háza → Néprajzi Múzeum
This locations are a bit less popular, but no less beautiful. They combine medieval castle architecture with modern buildings.
4. Vörösmarty tér → Párisi Udvar → Egyetem tér → Szabadság híd
Beautiful architecture right in the city center. This route is more about street photography with nice buildings as the background.
5. Nagyvásárcsarnok → Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem →
Szabadság híd → Gellért Hegy → Gellért tér (M4 metró)
Not very popular spots for photography, but still very beautiful and diverse. They include interesting architecture, a panoramic view from the hill, and a descent into a beautiful metro station.
